Class Credit Event Ledger and Adjustment Log
A printable ledger for recording every change to a member's class credit balance as a dated event with a reason and a name, so any balance can be rebuilt from the record and any dispute settled by reading it.
Reviewed for 2026, updated September 8, 2026.
A credit balance stored as a single editable number drifts. Someone forgets a check-in, a refund is processed without restoring the credits, a pack is entered the next morning with the wrong date, and within a few months nobody can say why a member has seven credits instead of nine. The alternative is to stop editing the total and start recording events. Each purchase, redemption, restoration, no-show deduction, expiry and manual adjustment gets its own line with a date, the change in credits, the balance after, the reason and the person who recorded it. The balance is then just the sum of the lines.
This worksheet is that ledger on paper or in a spreadsheet, one sheet per member or one shared sheet sorted by member. The example rows below show one member's pack over a few months, with placeholders where your own figures go. Fill in the balance after column every time, because that is what lets you spot an error the moment it happens rather than at month end. If you outgrow the sheet, the columns map directly onto what a proper tracking system should store, and the Outstanding Class Credit Liability Calculator on the tools page can turn the sum of all open balances into a figure your accountant can use.
